Introduction to Lincoln Douglas Debate

Learn the foundations of one-on-one value debate while developing logical reasoning, persuasive argumentation, and respectful discourse. Students practice constructing cases, evaluating evidence, and responding thoughtfully to opposing viewpoints while building confidence in public speaking and critical thinking.

An accelerated dive into Lincoln-Douglas debate. Students learn to build values-based frameworks, structure cases on both affirmative and negative sides, deliver crosses, and refute opposing arguments under time pressure.
