# 🌿 New Community Partnership: Bridge × Indigenous Futures Coalition - Calling All Volunteers!

🌿 New Community Partnership: Bridge × Indigenous Futures Coalition

We’re excited to share a new Bridge for All Community Partnership launching this Fall 2027 with the Indigenous Futures Coalition (IFC)!

This collaboration brings together students who care about service, education, technology, cultural preservation, and building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities. Through the partnership, Bridge volunteers will have opportunities to contribute to real projects, learn from community leaders, and earn official volunteer service hours along the way.

Meet the Indigenous Futures Coalition

Indigenous Futures Coalition (IFC) is a student-led initiative founded by Aiden Kim and Lucas Cai, with Co-Presidents Solomon Hou and Jonathan Lin and a broader student leadership team, working to support Indigenous communities across generations through education, STEM and technology, service, sustained partnership, and cultural preservation through community-led legacy and oral-history projects.

IFC works alongside tribal communities, Native leaders, educators, and government partners to better understand local priorities and develop initiatives that are community-informed and built for long-term impact.

Its work is intentionally broad enough to bring together projects in STEM, tutoring, oral histories, legacy preservation, cultural preservation, and future community partnerships under one collaborative mission.

At the heart of IFC is a simple mission:

Honoring Heritage • Empowering Futures

The idea behind the motto is to bring together two things that should never have to be separated: preserving the knowledge, stories, languages, and traditions passed down through generations while helping young people and communities access education, technology, opportunity, and the tools to shape what comes next.

What Will Bridge Volunteers Do?

Through the Bridge for All × IFC partnership, student volunteers can become involved in projects such as:

  • Tutoring and educational outreach for Indigenous students and communities
  • STEM and technology programs designed to expand educational access and opportunity
  • Cultural and language preservation initiatives
  • Oral-history and legacy projects that help preserve community stories and knowledge across generations
  • Supporting community events, research, outreach, and other projects developed in response to community needs
  • Working alongside other students, educators, nonprofit partners, Native leaders, and community partners

Different opportunities may look different depending on the needs of each community. One of the most important principles behind this partnership is that projects should be shaped with communities rather than simply for them.

That means listening first, respecting local knowledge and priorities, and finding ways for students to contribute their skills where they can genuinely be useful.

💛 Volunteer With Us — and Earn Official Service Hours

If you’ve been looking for a way to volunteer that combines service, education, culture, STEM, history, and community impact, we would love to have you join us.

Students participating through the Bridge–IFC collaboration can receive official volunteer hours for approved service activities.

You do not need to be an expert in Indigenous history or STEM to participate. We are looking for students who are curious, dependable, respectful, and genuinely interested in learning and helping.

Whether you love tutoring, coding, research, storytelling, history, language, design, education—or simply want to contribute your time—there may be a place for you.

Building Something That Lasts

We’re especially excited about this partnership because it is not meant to be a one-time service project.

The hope is to build long-term relationships that connect students, Indigenous communities, educators, Native leaders, and other partners—and to create programs that can continue growing from year to year.

IFC’s name reflects that philosophy: there is no single Indigenous “future.” Different Native nations and communities have their own histories, priorities, and visions for what comes next.

Bridge for All is grateful for the opportunity to support that work and to give our student volunteers another meaningful way to learn, serve, listen, and build alongside others.

Honoring Heritage. Empowering Futures. 🌿

We hope you’ll join us this fall!
